Breathe & Brew is a monthly, immersive wellness workshop held every first Monday evening at Oyun Botanical Gardens. Guided by Habeebah and Christopher of Christopher’s Favorite Tea, this one-hour experience blends intentional breathwork, aromatic tea ritual, and seasonal awareness.
Each session explores conscious breathing techniques and the physiology behind them—how breath influences the nervous system, lung capacity, focus, and relaxation. These practices are supported by aromatherapy and warmth through tea. As steam rises from the cup, botanical aromas gently engage the senses, encouraging deeper, slower breathing, while the heat of the tea helps relax the chest, throat, and diaphragm, making breathwork feel more accessible and embodied.
Alongside guided breathwork, guests are introduced to thoughtfully selected seasonal teas and taught how to brew them with intention. The teas are chosen to complement the energetic and physical focus of each session, reinforcing the breathwork through scent, temperature, and plant properties.
As the year moves, the workshop follows a seasonal rhythm:
Winter centers Grounding, Spring invites Opening, Summer supports Energizing, and Fall creates space for Release.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and anything that supports comfort and ease—blankets, bolsters, pillows, or other personal items—to fully settle into the experience.
Come breathe deeply, sip slowly, and leave feeling restored, informed, and gently re-centered.
